Ol Red 2012 Bear hunts(THE BADLANDERS STRIKE AGAIN)

Well the badlander crew started the 2012 bear season hitting the ground running! Catching 11 bears in 13 days of hunting! Between my brother and I we had about 20 dogs in which we rotated everday to make sure we had fresh legs, and boy did we sure need them fresh legs! Some of the bears ran for miles had one even run from 9 am to 8am the next moring when we still found the dogs treed. Others were nice races also that werent so long, very fortunate that we had dogs that would keep them in a tree till we got to take some photos. We had some awsome tranning for our young dogs we had 2 one yr olds and 2 8 months old plotts making everyrace even the long ones. And to all the friends we had at bear camp we truly enjoyed it we had a blast.Here are some pictures of bears we caught and some of the dogs hard at work! Hope you all enjoy! awesome season!!!! Nice to see you mixing it up. a red bone couple plotts a black and tan and a bluetic. wish I could have made it down again this year. see ya in eastern utah next spring!

thanks jared actually that red bone is a buckskin plot and we will prb be seeing u guys oncw u guys get snow will be talking good buddy

Isiah, you and Jesse look good. The man in the middle looks a lot older than he did the last time i saw him. Wish i was there and could smell good fresh cool air, it is extremely hot and humid down here in La after Isiac finally moved on. I probably wont be able to go after some cats for another week and then the mosquitoes will be BAD !!! I doubt if i will ever get back up there but looking at the pictures i can smell the pinion pines in Louisiana. Keep up the good work.

wish i could have made it out there this year its about lion hunting season back here in utah we got some snow at the tops of some mtns stay in touch

sparkles u should have drug the j hawk down and hunted with. us the second part of our season has started on sunday and we have caught a mess of bears i talked to jared and he might go with us to north carolina in november to run some bears your more than welcome to come i will put some pics up of the latest catches when i get a chance keep in touch

That's a hell of a journey to hunt some bears but you can count me in I got me a few more dogs to my pack (supoposily bear dogs) I'd like to see em on some bears before winter I'd like a plot pup or something if you have a litter give me a ring
