silent heat vs. normal heat?
so after my post about waiting for a heat cycle, my female went into heat I think. She is swelling in the back (not a whole but visible right now) and barking, whinning more. Whats the difference between a silent heat and a normal heat? I have had male dogs my whole life and now I have a female so its a bit new to me.

No two dogs are the same.
Had a female a few years ago. Only came in once a year.
Did not swell at all.
I lifted her tail and looked, day after day.
When she started bleeding I put a male in with her.
Very good reproducer.
