Looks like Garmin Updated the software in the 320 to support Base Station.. which means you can track the dogs in Real time on a computer with the latest Base camp software.
I haven't verified it on the 320, but I have on the Alpha, but I was checking on another error with a customer with a Problem tracking more than 4 dogs using the "Big name list" Which was also fixed in this issue.
for the Basestation, You'll want to have a Map program on your computer for you to see the maps for it to work.
Give me a call if you need to order maps. But you can try it with out the maps for free to see if you like it.
I don't have allot of time to mess with it, I'm sure it's the same as the Alpha which is great for someone who wants to watch things on a Full screen.

Buddy, That would be awsome if it does work on the 320. Has anyone tried it with the 320, I know the Alpha could do it out of the box but I havent heard about the update to get it to work with base camp.
Would it just be a live view from your main basecamp screen with birdseye?

Re: Live tracking Garmin Astro 320 on Laptop
I was playing with one and it's not pulling up the base station.. So I'm confused now.. It shows on the update for the 320.. I don't have allot of time to work on the issue right now.
I know on the alpha when you plug in the USB it asks you if you want basestation. I'm not getting that option on the 320.. So it might not be working yet.

Re: Live tracking Garmin Astro 320 on Laptop
hey I was playin around with the basestation thing on the computer and I got it to work with the 320 but on the computer i could only get it to show the dog tracking on "global map" that came with basestation and it sucks. it would be cool if I could view the dogs on the 3D Birdseye map but I couldn't figure out how to switch it over or if it's even possible? If anyone knows how to make it work let me know....thanks
