anyone know the name of the 3 deertick desease your hound can get and info of the systems?

Lyme disease is one and they will have a slight fever and act as if you have just pounded them in a all night fox race. Act bad sore and can't hardly move. Bacteria infection that gets in the joints, tetracycline 500mg twice a day for ten days will do the trick. Jmo

Lymes, Ehrlichiosis, and anaplasmosis. I think the symptoms are similiar to what was described above. The treatment that I have seen was doxycyline instead of tetracycline. It is amazing how quick they snap around once they start getting antibioitics.

Thanks for the info. I got a dog from a guy and he did good for the 1st month or so was fast and gritty treed good kept up with my lead dog who is fast, then he started falling out like he didnt want to hunt anymore, called the guy and told him what he was doing. he said sounded like anaplasmosis and he gave me some doxcyline and said to try that he said same thing that they snap out quick like 3 days but to finish giving the pills. dogs been on his 3rd day and hes more active on his chain already i hope he goes back it staying up front with no quit again. fingers are crossed find out this weekend.
