you get to a bobcat tree an have the cat jump out of the tree, hit the ground an tree a ways off, then do the same thing two more times? it started from a jump track.

I would say pretty unusual for that to happen in this area. Andy

Did you see the cat or was it a fox? It's also pretty tough for dogs to hold a jump on a cat this time of year once, let alone control the cat on 3 seperate occasions. If your dogs pulled that off be very pleased with them. 1 of my trainer cats has been harrased by me and my dogs for a couple seasons now, Its a smaller tom and he will sometimes do like you described only treeing on bushes, low limbs and leaning reprod. But once the dogs are about to pull hair he will find and climb the tallest closest maple tree around and he goes way up. I made the cat act this way by shaking him out of everything I could climb, after awile I didnt need to shake him any more because he wouldnt let me get close enough to the tree. One of these times it will end on the ground, and that will be a sad day. Well enough of my B.S. keep hunting them dogs like your doing. Have a nice day. John.

X2 I've noticed that if you shake em out you can train a wild bobcat to jump.
