Why you cant hunt them all. Just cause a man has a lot of pups dont make them any better than a man who is getting a pup ounce a year.

Didn't know lions were all the way in Kansas now? Wow!!
The long bawl in early fall, the steady chop, the hammer drop. The chase and the tree, the passion of hunting for you and me. The old dog and the pup, the juvenile thats always corrupt. The snow the rain the laughter and pain. These dogs called hounds, we chase through the brush, waiting for the tree, our next big rush.

i dont know about cats but i called Ken duncan and told him what i was looking for in a bear dog . i got a nine month old pup that is striking off the box and running and starting to tree pretty good and is about the easiest dog to handle that i have been around. i dont think you can really go wrong with kens dogs.

Its good to see that he is getting some good dogs again! Not so long ago he was breeding some competition lookin dogs that ran with their heads in the air short eared odd lookin dogs. Not all of them but quite a few looked this way, I started out with duncan bred dogs and since then only have one in the kennel. I got a dog out of utah recently that is duncan bred. He is doin a bang up job. I thought he had some other breeding in him but had my wires crossed. Calvin Pool is supposed to have some damn fine bnt's. He is also out of Utah. Do some pokin round and you should be able to find him.
