His name is Ghost. He is a blue leopard Merle with ice eyes. He has all the makings of a great hunting hound and stays true to Houla characteristics. Silent, stealthy, tenacious, he won't let go or back off the hunt.
He is very well behaved by himself and other dogs as long as they are smaller or female. He is amazing with small children. He knows commands like sit/stay/shake/down/up/speak. Very very intelligent. Just about 60lbs. I attached a few photos. I do not want him to go to a shelter or get listed on Craigslist and thrown into a pitbull fighting ring. So I will want to meet you first. Call or text is fine 707-837-6623.
I have two adolescent male Catahoulas. I had no idea how difficult it would be to try to raise them together. I noticed them quarreling at 4 months of age and had them both neutered. Now at 8 months the spats have turned into real fights. Their struggle for dominance has not changed with training, neutering, or separating them. I am hoping you can find me a home for one of them where they can hunt and live the way they ought to.
I am now 3 months pregnant and can't handle splitting them up when they fight. This breaks my heart more than anything I have ever done. I feel like it was a bit irresponsible for the breeder to not say anything about the dynamic of two males/ or even just any two litter-mates.
