I feed DIamond beef meal and rice. my dogs hips r shoeing and ribs and 4 vertabreys. i road them 4 times a weeks 2 to 3 miles at a time. i feed them 2 cups they r about 50 pounds.

They have full spectrum wormers now that you do need to gey from the vet. You can get them at most feed stores. I would change your dog food. I used to feed Diamond years ago but it has gone down on quality and up in price. I feed Red Flannel Prime now and I hunt my dogs hars a few times a week and they do really well on it. Try worming and changing dogs food and see if that helps

Might want to increase to maybe 4 cups, with the amount of roading being done. They're burning a lot of calories on 8 to 12 miles per week.

Diamond beef and rice has 338 kcal per cup. You are feeding your dogs only 676 kcal per day. A 50 pound inactive dog needs 700 kcal to just maintain body weight. when you add roading and any parisite draw in it is easy to see that you need to feed more or swicth to a higher protien/fat type of feed. Their are very good post on there about worming programs do a search for (worming dogs)

I use safeguard goat wormer 1 cc every 5 lbs three days in a row. I. Have great results
