what kind of country do hogs thrive in

Just wondering what kind of country hogs do the best in and what they eat

they are the most versatile and smartest critter on 4 legs . Rule of thumb is if a deer can live there they can too , plus lowland swamp country . They eat anything snakes , anything thats dead and dont move , grass , roots , bugs , acorns , berries , anything that fits in their mouth . They are opportunistic predators also

out where we hunt them they are on the mountain/desert.they can run 5-10 miles on the gps about as fast as a bear can. out there they eat snakes, roots, leaves, and cactus, and cedar berries. they reproduce like crazy.
"Houndn'Ems Blueticks" if it smells like a cat, they'll catch it.

x2 like both coolerman and houndem said they can live just about anywhere, i know they do quite well down here in florida. i think texas has the most hogs in this country.
