JC: I will be in ca. until the end of the year. After that when I get a chance I will come down. I would like to see if the cats there are as tough as some think. I won't run in real bad bluffs or near highways. Dewey

Just curious, what makes that area so tough? Bad ground, spoiled cats?

Thanks,

Dave

combo of both dave . i run these cats over and over again . sometimes i catch them sometimes i dont. they know when they here a dog bark what is about to happen. there are some rock pinicles but no huge bluffs. the ground is not steep . there is some brush. for the most part they are just trained up. if i run a cat for 2 hours and it gets away im fine with that. i hunt for the sound of the race. i dont like to loose but it does happen.

nice comeback eric. the sound of the race has to sound right, if dogs are barking out of place it just dosnt sound good. just got in from huntin. had a nice cold trail on a feeder track. the dogs trailed for a mile or so then they got him up and going. ran him for close to an hour before he went up. couldnt ask for a better race . the last hour i never moved my pickup. the best part of the whole thing was my dad had to go to the tree while i sat at the pickup. this being hurt aint half bad.
