Vern Caldwell
I was looking on here about some of the old timers stories about Cap Atwood and Ben Lilly and was wondering if anyone had stories of Vern Caldwell. He was a government trapper in CO, and ran some with both of them back in the day. He was my great grandfather but died when my dad was very young and most of his stories have been lost and I would be very interested in any stories or information on his dogs.

The Lee Brothers were featured in Outdoor Life/Field Stream/Sports Afield about 2 decades ago.
I used to have the magazine until my wife cleaned out my collection.
Get in touch with outdoor life and inquire and back issues. It was a great read on dogs, breeding and their cooperation from what I recall.
