I have had the 220 and dc 40's for a couple years I love it saved me a ton of time looking for dogs and piece of mind so far all of my dc40's have been good. as far as battery life a guy I know has the 320 it seems to go throught batteries a bit faster only thing I would ask for out of my 220 and dc40's would be more range I'm gonna get the longer antena for my 220 and I'm gonna try the long range Antena for my collars I have Hurd good reviews on the longer range antennas for the collars so for 10 bux I'm gonna order one and try it out if it improves my range I will order more for the rest of my collars but if you do not use a tracking system now and are hunting on a ranch I'm guessing for coon? I bet the 220 will work great for what you nead it for. Good luck and happy hunting
