I used some beveled aircraft grade screws counter sunk into the nylon Thomas, with lock nuts on top. I have lots of the screws if you decide to go that way. I did make a little metal guard for the front of the nylon that helps save it when you hit stumps and such. It just bolts to the ski so the nylon won't take the full force of my bad driving. I'm missing one nylon piece right now, not bad for the number of years they've been in use.

Anyone have any suggestions or experience with building a dog box trailer using old cross country skis? Is it worth trying or should I find some old snowmobile skis?

Most cross country skis are rated to a persons weight, mine are rated at 250 lbs so I can carry a pack. I think you would end up breaking them.

Thomas, that a nice job. Plenty of clearance there. RS

Does anyone have a setup that will fit both a snowmobile and trailer/dog box in the back of a full size short box pickup? I am looking for some ideas so any pictures you can post or PM are appreciated.
