anyone here hunt lions in nevada

never ran a lion only bear n coon here n calif i have two good bear n coon dogs and was wondering the thoughts of them being able to catch a lion? if it would be worth the money n time to mabe go to nevada and try it and can i even get a non res tag?

its prrtty cheap to get a non res tag like 250 for liscense and tag

I say go for it. Been thinking the same thing myself. For $250 you can hunt 24/7. The only draw back I can see is the weather and finding some hunting country when you don't know where to go. Probably their Fish& Game could help out with that

Just to clarify guys, you cannot kill a lion after dark in washo county, nv. So if you are thinking about hunting in that part of Nevada you will have to do your shooting during daylight hours, other county's are different. Ask the area game warden about the law, it's a hard one to find in the game regs
