Het Dillon, tell us a bit more about that day and tell us about the dogs. This experience is now behind you and someday you will be old and gray and a tear will come to your eye when you look at those old pictures. Write something in a journal so you can clearly remember how the air smelled and what an epic day that was. Phil
well its kind of a funny story,my dad owns a heating and air conditioning business, hes always busy.in the last year he has only been out twice with me.so the night before we caught that cat i called my dad at home and said put all your stuff in your truck and be ready if i cut a track.so i was out of town about one and a half hrs when i cut an awesome track.i called my pops, and he headed my way.when he arrived it was about 3 pm.i turned the dogs out and they ran the track real good for about 200 yds, than lost it because the track was stomped in with cattle and deer tracks.after walking through a steep canyon with my dogs the track came out of all the junk and the dogs were cruising.about one hour later i could hear the dogs treed, deep into the gorge.by the time my dad and i got there it was dark and you could see the big tom outlined in the moonlite.the dogs did great,my dad had a blast.
my dogs are jeff allen breed, that i bought directly from jeff last january2012.i also had a 6 month old cameron female on the chace that i bought from crazy cascade bluetiks.
