Just Sit & Listen.

Post by Warner5 »

The dogs gave me 3 perfect races this season, started on the end of a hogs back all the cats could do was work the dogs underneath me letting me just sit and listen. The people that would like to take our hunting from us really have no idea why we run our dogs. Its a damn shame, they would like to take something like this from us. :beer

We might take some cats but have learned to leave more. Little do they know my 3 perfect races came from the same cat on 3 seperate occasions. 8)

Bought time for you anti-pos, to get a clue. John.

Ough and by the way, for you anti's crusing the site. Next time you bite into a steak or nail a board onto your new house. Take a minute and ponder where it came from. Me and lots of people just like me, we dont tell you how to live! You cannot force us to change our way of life without inadvertently changing yours. Please think about it. John.

Jon

I have 2 cats like the one you're talking about now. I had 3 until tonight but she tried hunkering and running back through 8 dogs one to many times. A bum deal for sure, she was my favorite. She has probably given me over 10 hrs of jumped race to listen to over the last 3 years. I have treed her twice and she has whooped our butts 3 or 4 times but she was always good for at least an hour and a half of hard running and ducking and i never had to move position to stay in the race. I will miss that cat a hell of a lot more than any of these self righteous tree huggn POS could even think of. I am getting to the age where i don't really give a rats ass what they throw at me, im just gunna do my thing and be good with it. They don't have any idea how important sound management is to a species. Sorry to rant on your thread but i think we are on the same bus. Anyways i agree with you 100% on those select cats that seem to be here for our enjoyment!

Maybe Marshall on here will chime in on this as he was blessed to have dogs on her with me one night she treed after 2 hrs and seeing her in the road 5 times. The race in the top 5 of all time for me.

John I know exactly what you are saying. To date, the race that mark speaks of ranks at the top by a long shot!!! We sat in one spot for a hour and listened to a jumped cat race that never got any further then 100 yds from us and not to mention seeing the cat 5 times!!!! That cat was so tired she just sat there and looked at us from about 15 ft away with the dogs not 20 yds behind and closing and she hunkerd down as long as she could before finially going up a tree. That race will forever be stuck in my head! I would give anything to have cats run like that here on the east side! I'm with you guys 100% and I can see just how it will play out.

Q: Marshall, what are you in for?

A: Oh I broke the hippie law and got caught runnin a bobcat....

What a joke!!!!!
