Those are popular named breeders ya but in all reality for what they want for a pup you can get cheaper from any old breeder. You never know how s pup will turn out. You can pay big money on a pup of theirs and have it be shit or pay for a cheap pup somewhere else and have it be a bad ass cat dog. Just my opinion I have bought both and you never know wat you'll get.

Ken Duncan sells pups for $250. He's been breeding the Black dogs for almost 50 years. They aint junk, and you can't hardly buy a yard dog pup for that!
Once you go black, you'll never go back! Duncan big game Black and Tans.

The price you pay for a pup is the cheapest part of this sport! Both of those lines of hounds can and will make good lion dogs. Your odds of getting a pup that will turn into a good hound for you are higher with successful breeder than a back yard oops pup. Good luck with your pup which ever route you choose.

Not saying they are bad breeders at all in fact they are great it's just that I have dogs I've got from others that are some nice hounds. Nothing against them at all.
