Howdy
My name is Charles Turner and I live in southern WVA. I have been fortunate to have a good friend that is a first class bear hunter, I was able to go along this last year and be involved in some good chases. I was always welcomed as I have raised and trained police k9's for years and was always quick to grab a leash or give a hand on the hunt where I was needed. A few months ago my cousin Randy Lester allowed me to have one of his fine young Plots, a Fargo son. He is a year old and training on coon at the present time. I see alot of potential in this dog, but a long way to go also. I have a female puppy coming from Eugene Walker this spring. I don't have a prefernece on any breed or color of hide. I like a dog that gives it his or her all to work, whatever the job may be. It was nice nice to see so many things the same in schooling a dog to hunt a man or a dog to hunt another animal. The one thing that still remains in all working/hunting dogs is genetics, it has to be there from the start. I know if that is there, my job is easy! Just my opinion
