cb antenna

Post by robert54843 »

Could be a dumb question but, Has anybody ever mounted a 102 inch cb antenna to a truck bed. I wanna get one but will have to mount it as close to the bed as i can. it will stick up roughly 5 feet over cab when done. Will I lose reception at all with it being mounted that low?

Lots of guys mount them to the bumpers. I have mine to the side of my tool box on the top of my bed. You shouldn't have any problems.
