Starting out.
Alright, I've been hound hunting with friends for a while now. They want me to get my own dogs because how well I am around them and such. I've had two hounds before, so I know how to train them and get them hunting. However, I've never had the equipment or the proper set up for them. So I would like to know which tracking equipment would do best in Northern California, with our steep mountains. I'm just starting out, so I can't afford a whole lot, but I've noticed that a lot of the used stuff is kind of crap. People think a lot of their stuff is better than it is and overprice it. (It's not all of the used stuff, I've just noticed that a lot of it is that way). I would appreciate any feed back, opinions and tips, thank you.
