B&T man wrote:Am I missing something... Beating the dogs with a hose, shooting them if they don't straighten out in a week, shock collars... Why would you not just separate them? They are 5 months old, it's sibling rivalry, very common. Ya don't put up with the fighting but if there is something so easy as separating them why not?

Same thing if I have a double sided dog box and two of my males tend to be growly with each other in close quarters they go in opposite sides. Easy as pie.

Yeah it's not that easy . Like I said I hunt with big groups sometimes my dogs end up in someone else's box before the end of the day . But sibling rivalry has a part in it but the runts nippy to all dogs around dead game .
Big ridge kennels

its not the dog in the hunt, its the hunt in the dog

Get yourself a cattle prod. When the young dogs dont respect your commands, make believers out of them.

Once they get the idea, keep the prod with you so they can see it. ONLY USE THE PROD FOR FIGHTING PROBLEMS.

I cant spell philosphy? But I can spell, cattle prod. :?. John.
