Tough Conditions Make for Tough Training

Postby Gary Roberson » Mon May 20, 2013 12:31 pm

I am trying to start a young hound but the dry, windy conditions are sure making it difficult for a young hound to get excited about trailing. He has a lot of hunt and goes with the older dogs, just having a tough time trailing.
Adios,

Gary, I am sure if he is one of your pups he will get through it. I just had a litter of pups that I think will be top notch and cant wait to get em going......they are only a week old soooo it will be a while but I am super pumped. This dry weather is making it tough, but we just moved over to La Coste out here in the farm fields and the coons are moving in off the medina river bottom now that the corn is almost ready.....have not met all the surrounding neighbors but the ones I have talked to are alright with me running the hounds on them.......should be fun.

Get the kids out there with you as often as you can, this day and age they can be so influenced by social media it is scary.
