What's the bear hunting like up by trinity ridge roaring cr middle fork area since it all burned last year anyone still catching up there this year

i dont know because we went hunting for deer up there and we didnt see anything we only saw deer up like 15 miles up farther

Just talked to biologist said the bear are all over in there eating up the new grass and morel mushrooms

oh yeah forgot about them mushrooms,so you going to hunt there this year with bait or something

We are heading up there Thursday no baits just the hounds

So you all were able to draw some out of state hound permits huh with only 70 handed out thats good luck?

I got an out of state permit the 1st time I ever tried and I am a walking black cloud when it comes to luck.

Lance bell i did draw out my buddy lives in idaho never ran bear in idaho only utah cause i never draw this year i finally did so we are heading up that way to check it out
