Cold trailing

Post by s_parks »

Ok this is for bare ground guys. On a average how long would you say your cold trail jobs are I know you get some super old tracks and some smokers. But I'm curious how long on average do you trail a cat that you will usually get jumped?

I would say my average is 250 yards, I get some longer and some shorter but I would say 250 yards is middle of the road.

I would say 15 min average . sometimes an hour . a mile is not uncommon. I prefer the 10 to 15 min.
