Bear in my dog Kennel

Post by super white hunter »

So I woke up this morning to my dogs going nuts, they are usually very quite unless they have a reason to bark. I stick my head out the window, look down and there is a bear INSIDE the dog kennel with the dogs. Took me a minute to make sure I was awake and sure enough my dogs are fighting with a bear. Was about 100 150 pounder wish I would have been fast enough to get a picture. Wasn't sure what I was going to do and about the time I reached for my rifle the bear jumped from the top of the dog house and over the six foot fence. Got to be the dumbest bear ever. was a crazy way to start the day

Found out today that my nieghbor, who lives about a quater mile away heard the commosion yesterday on his way to his truck. He stood there a minute wondering what the heck was going on and soon the bear came running across his driveway and through the river. He said he has never seen a bear running so fast. after the river is highway and he almost caused a crash when a truck had to slam on the brakes. Beyond that is a steep mountain and he said that bear never slowed down never looked back. Maybe he headed for Utah and you boys can give him some lead pills for me.

Thanks, pretty sure I will get a good laugh out of this every time I think about it for a long time.

My two dogs first bear tree ever was from a 350 + cinamon bear coming and dragging their dog food bag off the front of their kennel. He was a toad from eating trash and a fifty pound sack of food. The dogs jumped off the roof of their house had him bayed for a couple hours and finaly treed him twice before I could leash them up. They were only seven months. I had the same feeling of ugh either theres a bear right there or i'm still asleep.
