Stupid people

Postby Bayemup34 » Sat Jul 13, 2013 1:32 pm

It amazes me the number of dumbass people there are in the world. I just saw where somebody had posted on a blog with an article about bear hunting with hounds. He said he doesn't see that it's very challenging to ride in a truck starin at a GPS screen. That dumbass really thinks that's all there is to it?!?!

After Measure18 passed in Oregon i was debating a man at a gas station.Explaining how hounds work work and what it takes to get a good one.I told him it takes me a minimum of 2 yrs to train one,if the dog has the right genetics .I don't claim to be the best trainer in the world .Or,I also told him you could buy one , if you have a few thousand dollars and you can find one for sale .He said " I thought they just did it naturally ". For some reason people want to think its easy.

Well I know up where we hunt people think thy bcuz they see 15 trucks goin up the road with dog boxes that's all bear hunters do. What they don't know is that there's guys up on a mountainside walkin for miles tryin to find a track. They think we just sit in the truck all day.

These people should come along on the trek to some of our trees! The longest walk i can remember was40 yrs ago .It took me and my old buddy Dan Baskin 4 hrs to get to a dang old treed coon.We didn't have the roads or electronics back then.I bet a lot of big game hunters make longer walks than that!

Haha wow. Can't say I've walked that far to a tree but I've walked that far to find a track or to find a dog. This one guy on there was like if I did decide to hunt bears it wouldn't be letting dogs find th track for me while I sat in the truck with my gps. I posted "nope you wouldn't go in with a pack of dogs bcuz you'd NEVER walk that far!"
