Re: north dakota and dogs
non residents cant kill cats but coon and coyote are fair game to non residents. Where bouts are you hunting im working out in nd right now and got my dogs with me running them a couple nights a week?
Re: north dakota and dogs
im probably gonna end up in between Williston and minot. kind of wingin it. am a carpenter and in between projects. would like to hook up with you when I get there in a week or so and run a few can we pursue cats legaly? or just by accident. what do ya think?

Re: north dakota and dogs
im right in between williston and minot. I would be game for getting the dogs out for sure, from what i read in the regs a non resident can not "harvest" a cat but i dont see why a non resident cant own the hounds that are pursuing the non target species.

I'm out here in watford working to been wanting to bring one of my hounds out to. Get ahold of me to when you guys go I'd like to also. Don't know if you can hunt down by the little missuri river but I hiked down there I found a bunch of shorty tracks

hound hunting isnt a sport, its a way of life
Re: north dakota and dogs
there are quite a few places down there that are open to public hunting. There is alot of public ground around out here a guy can hunt. pm me and we can discuss it a little more if ya want

Re: north dakota and dogs
David is trying not to buy a dog right now. He's over in Williston. If he hears this I don't know if he could stay away.
I've been little red devil on his shoulder trying to tempt him with various dogs since he sold his and started driving. I son't know how much more he can take before he breaks down and get's his next dog!
