I took my 2 plots for a quick walk up a hill to get some fresh air and see how they get along. They got along great, my smokie girl is the dominant one and Pepper is ok with it and respects it. we sat and watched the sunset and then started down the hill and a coon waddeled onto the trail... both girls howled at it and I did what any good houndsman would do... I let em go!! there was a fast 20 yrd sight chase and those girls almost got that coon on the ground... he treed and both of them were hammering that pine tree. I walked over and told them how they being good girls and let them tree for 10 mins. Neither one left the tree or let up.. I am wicked proud of my Pepper girl, she was a bear pack cull from a buddy and was super shy. After I got those older hounds, she came out of her shell and is a totally different animal yet still listens and minds great..
