I...don't recall saying anything about my dogs bein perfect and I don't remember saying anything bad about his dogs in any way. I'm sorry if the rest of y'all apparently read somethin else than what I said. My dog would run a chicken too if it was there. I was just sayin it was a good laugh watching him do it, and that I would've had a shock collar on him and sopped that crap real quick. I wasn't bashing on anyones dogs ,ive learned my lesson doing that !the day you bash on someones dogs your dogs want get out from under the truck. maybe you was talking to the guy below me................. But I only started this cause he didn't use his tracking collars then again its tv I know and I have a lot of respect for him portraying us houndsmen as hardworking to get the dogs back and look for them ! atleast he isn't making us look like hillbillies that shoots everything . his dogs are better then mine , they wouldn't even know the first clue about a mountain lion. So just clearing that up to everyone why I made this . I haven't seen the chicken one so im not commenting .

I agree. And I'm sorry if I said somethin that made you guys think I was bashing his dogs. His dogs are some of the best I've seen and I'll also be the first to tell you mine are FAR from perfect. I'm also sorry if the last two things I posted offended anyone. I was plainly trying to defend myself bcuz y'all thought I was bashing his dogs. I'm sorry and I hope you guys weren't too offended

I have no clue what kind of dogs the fellow has, good or bad, but this may be the only time an average person see's a hound hunter on a show that isn't about hunting and I think he is doing a pretty good job at representing hound hunting. Jus saying, give the guy a break....

I only know of this guy from being at lion quota meetings. His dogs are plenty good rest assured. I am glad to see him portraying my way of life in a positive way to the masses who don't know $h*@ about our world. I'm sure there is no treed bobby footage because the camera crew didn't make the tree by the time he shot a $500 bill out. I'm glad they edit it all in a way to show all the more that the general population needs to see to be entertained and slightly educated. At least he isn't allowing the History channel to portray houndsman as poaching criminal dirt bags like Nat Geo does with their California Gamewarden bull $h@&.

406hound - I agree completely. He seems like a solid guy, and these reality tv shows cut/edit hours to get 2 minutes of footage. I would hate to have someone watch my every step for a week and only show the goofy stuff I do throughout the week. I wouldn't have thought twice about shooting the bobcat either, that is too hard to turn down.

heck man I am envious of the man, bobcats walking thru his yard, now that's the high life.and im glad the man has found a way to help cover the expense of our sport.anybody that's been following a dogs ass down the road as long as some of us on here well knows its not a profitable sport. my hats off to the guy

I admit i laughed about and questioned some of the stuff he did but im sure everyone is right about the tv bs and the editing. I do hate the fact that californias fish and game did there bs to the houndsmen. made us all look very bad. and probably had a big impact on the bear persuit with hounds illegal now. i wish they could make a show about the game wardens and there life because i know they are not perfect and we could edit it to make them look like some f'd up sob's.
