Les Schwab Tire Sucks

This is a result of Led Schwab Tire not torquing a wheel. The trailer traveled less than 100 miles. The trailer has steel wheels that seldom if ever need re-torquing if properly torqued. It caused 8000.00 dollars worth of damage to my triple axle trailer as well as nearly hitting 2 motorcycles. When I called them they offered to make it good and provided a new wheel and mounted it for free admitting fault. Luckily I carry full coverage insurance on the trailer with a 500.00 deductible. Tim VanCleave and gang refuse to re-emburse me for my 500.00 deductible. This is not the Schwab of days gone by. Don't fool yourself and pay their inflated prices thinking you are getting service. YOUR NOT! The place is a joke. Please share your Les Schwab whore story. Let them know treating folks this way is not tolerated!

left their fernbridge shop about 15 years ago after haveing my tires rotated made it about 15 miles and my front tire came off studs and all from over torqueing.

I have had absolutely no luck with Les Schwab tires. I bought a brand new set of very expensive tires from them for my hunting rig. The tires were right at 1000.00 bucks. I guy talked me into shyping them. What a mistake. Come to find out later that shyping them voided the warranty. I got only 7000 miles on those tires and there was literally chunks of tire missing. The manager told me their off road warranty doesn’t cover the type of off road that I put my truck through. Never again!!!!

The reason i quit Les Schwab :They no longer back their warranty!When i bought my first tires from them in1974 they valued their customers and gave them great service.Sad to say that's no longer true.

100% Agree les schwab is a bunch of thieving bums. Never back a tire warranty, overly expensive, super slow with tire rotations

I have never had Les Schwab not back there warranty. Always had great service with them, maybe the one in Orofino is just a good one.

Every tire store I've ever been to seems to come up with some sort of excuse as to why they shouldn't have to back their warranty. They do it with brakes too...schwab's has screwed me over multiple times in multiple cities, but I bought again from them recently because I couldn't find anyone better...they're the best of the worst I guess.

Well they finally paid me my 500.00. I shouldn't have had to do what I did to get them to make it right. I even offered to take a in store credit and continue doing business there. I understand stuff happens but when they do you need to be accountable. As it stands I will never set foot in their store again.
