I've been out to White Slough wildlife area, plenty of coons. Lots of water with hyacinth and other stuff on it, really thick in spots. I had to go in a couple times to get the dogs out. I might try Fremont Weir wildlife area, hopefully less crap to wade through!

How were the fox tails down there? If you come up to the Fremont weir let me know it's just up the road from me

Foxtails weren't bad. We were working near or in the water mostly. I'll probably head up to Fremont Weir this weekend, I'm thinking Saturday. Have been out there?

Not this year, it's all walking in from.the parking lot, I'm not sure how much water is in there right now. But there's coon in there.

It's a open dogs zone for the state but I would check the regs for that Wildlife area, while deer season is open it's probably one dog per hunter.
Ignorance and not getting involved is the biggest enemy to a Houndsmen!
