Wolf crosses
Re: Wolf crosses
My little brother had one. I feared that dog when I was 12. She by far was the most unstable dog I have seen. She only had one alpha and it was him. If anyone else was around she would loose her shit. If you even raised you voice in the general area she would snap. So I would say that a lead pill is the key for them.
If you ain't cheating you ain't trying! "thank you Navy for that little one"

Re: Wolf crosses
I grew up around them, my mom raised them, even had a couple in the movies. We had 72% up to 100% timbers. I moved from Indiana to northern Minnesota, rite smack in the middle of the heaviest concentration of timber wolves in the lower 48. At first I thought it was neat living around them, seeing their tracks everywhere, occasional glimpse of one. Then once I started trapping hard and got back into hounds I seen first hand what they can do to the wildlife inside their territory. Area's go dead and void of wildlife, deer numbers dwindle, bobcat, fisher, martin, all move out of the area. Once I seen with my own eye's what damage they cause I have came to despise the damn things, and now I am seeing what they are doing to friends hounds makes me hate them even worse. Every time I turn a hound loose I have wolves in the back of my brain, it's not a matter of if but when it happens.
To you guys TALKING about making them cross's with lead, I DO MY PART, hope you are doing the same.
