AB 711 (Rendon) Hunting: non-lead ammunition passed narrowly on the Senate Floor yesterday evening, went to the Assembly Floor for concurrence where it passed.
AB 1213 (Bloom) Bobcats passed the Assembly today, concurring with Senate amendments, with 46 votes (41 are required to pass). The bill will now go to the Governor's office for his action.
So now it’s off to Governor Brown, be polite and request a veto on both bills. Now or never!

I tried an alternate E-mail for the Gov. and got a reply saying that I had to use the one shown above by Liz. I tried that again and got a response saying that it is an invalid address. It looks like the Gov. is blocking any attempt to contact him. What else did I expect????

This law sucks! What I've learned about copper bullets after not retrieving a few wounded animals is the higher the velocity the better they expand, so I switched to the lightest grain bullet for whatever caliber I was using and now they expand properly instead of just punching holes
