How come the tree dog icon issue on the TT's has not been fixed? Mine still just shows a dog sitting when treed.

myself and my friends alpha is doing the same thing. I have been calling garmin looking for a fix but nothing yet. We all just need to keep calling them and bugging them I think. Last time I called they said they hadnt heard of the problem yet. I had called them the month prior and told them. So just keep bugging them guys. Hopefully its soon.

It works for me because I"ve seen the tree indciation while out hunting, I normally ignore them and don't use the tree indications since I can tell when the dogs tree by how they are barking and I try to listen more than watch the screen,

But now that I'm trying to make it happen and trying to take a really good look at it and comparing it to the DC30's, I can't get it to show the treed. I'm trying to figure out a test that we can all do to try and test and duplicate it, and hopefully fine tune what is going on and give them something that can help the correct it.

Ideally if we can get ones that are working and then ones that aren't working we can help them figure this out.

If anyone can send me a track log of a Race with a Good Solid Tree Where the alpha didn't indicate the tree, I would like the Track logs to take a look at them. Download the tracks into basecamp directly from the collar and not the handheld, if you need help with this let me know.

If I can figure out a good test for everyone to do, and then report back the results I'll let you know, But it needs to be something that we can all do the same to try and prove when and how it works.

I would like for someone to prove to me that the alpha will show treed? I have two handhelds and nine collars none of which have ever showed treed. Buddy if I turn my collars on and leave on the box to link up should they show treed after a short time. ( the 320 and dc30s do)?

This issue was resolved and the TT10 Software was released to fix this issue.

The error only occured in the northern states, this was why some folks would get the tree indications and others would not.

Update your TT10 collars and you will start to see the tree indications.
