I made it a point to go to fish and game with my dogs and ask the game warden what i could and couldnt do and to ask if they had any areas they specifically wanted hunted, He sat down with me with the regs and gave me his take on the laws and what others could try to push. He was very helpful and later that month it was deer season and the game warden was checking all camps and he just waived me through even though i thought i might catch some flack for having dogs on a deer hunt with me, Later on i ran into him at a gas station and i asked why he didnt check me and he said its the upfront people he doesnt worry about so it might be worth a shot to go have a friendly conversation with your local warden because if you follow and understand the regs then you have nothing to sweat.

Now that right there is funny stuff! :beer

The laws are clear--- not to be "interpreted" by the local field agent!

Whats funny? The part where there is nothing stated about hunting certain animals with dogs? I dont think its funny and I dont want to be called a poacher or give houndsman a bad name. Can you define the law in the Nevada red fox category for hounds?

Here in Oregon cops and/or judges can and do take the same law or regulation and interpret it in different ways. That usually depends on their political affiliation.
