Alpha Map page

Post by JConroy »

I havnt used my Alpha in a bout 3 weeks. Turned it on and have no maps. My map card works fine in another GPS so I know its not the card. It will still track the dogs, still showed treed or moving and it gives all the distance/ elevation,,bread crumb trails etc. as normal just no map detail, no roads river towns...just a white screen. Tried updating unit and nothing. tried resetting to factory defaults still nothing. Any hints?

It was weird, had all the street names in town, road names out hunting but zero detail on screen. I just found out the map declutter was turned on, Thanks Buddy

When you are on the map page, Press the Menu bars on the bottom, Look for the Declutter option and press it.

I think your looking for "Declutter off "and which will turn that off. It should say Declutter on (Meaning if you press it you'll turn on the declutter) when it's in the right state.

Don't worry it get's allot of folks, I actually recommended that they change the option to turn that on because it was prone to getting accidentally enabled. I think in one of the latest options they have moved the Menu option to the bottom so that you have to scroll before enabling the De clutter.
