Polaris ranger pros and cons

Considering a ranger, any body have any input on them? Never been around one.Thanks

they work quite well. haven't seen much problems --- but they are just like all atv's they can turn over.. a couple of young fellows I know quite well hit a gravel ridge going a bit fast and rolled theirs.
If you get one be sure and get the cab for it too.

con... If you are going to spend that much cash, you might want to look at a small pickup..
Plus if you want to take it on a longer trip, it will not load in my full size pickup!
Need a trailer for that!

I bought a mid size 800 about a month ago. been down in WV bear hunting all week and love it!

the only thing to avoid with the Polaris Ranger if you plan on buying a used one is to stay away from the very first years that they came out. tranny issues and the chain that drives then make then a pain to work on. Newer ones you cannot go wrong with any of them. they are top quality machines and I have put them in some places that were thought impossible. Polaris motors are solid and damn near bullet proof if you keep the oil changed and the air filter clean.
