dc 50 wont add

i need help adding my new dc 50 collar to my less than year old 320. i looked on here at some other topics and saw what other people where having problems with. mine just says it did not find a collar to add. light stays green on my 50 and has full charge. was getting the new 50 collar a waste of time? i only got it because word of mouth said they are discontinuing the 40 and also finding the best gear for my dogs is always gonna help me in the long run. any help would be much appreciated. thanks

You need to update your 320 to except the dc50. Let me know if you need help..
