OUSDA Donation

Post by mike martell »

I decided to place this in the General section for a reason. As most of you would agree our hound hunting rights are in trouble all across America....

Our upcoming Convention here in Oregon is a great opportunity to attend and support your heritage with your membership and buy some raffle tickets for some outstanding prizes.

I just spoke with my good friend Greg Morton in California and he is donating two of his pups with all proceeds going to OUSDA! I will post pictures of the Sire and Dam. These dogs have been bred by Greg for many decades and the blood is from the same makeup as many of the most highly acclaimed dogs from California Big game and Varmint lines....The breeding behind the pups? Pretty close to 1/2 Treeing walker and 1/2 Shipley Trigg. Greg will include the three generation lineage in Writing as to the origin. I suspect these will be up for bidding.
Personal thanks to Greg for his kindness and support!
Thanks for reading

Glad to see people chipping in where they can. I sent Jerry Myra a bunch of pictures last year after the convention( it was my first). I am trying to encourage anyone I can to go. Those are some good looking dogs.

Thomas

Jerry Myra has a really cool picture from last years Bobcat gathering, it depicts the achievement awards crew I donated that he is framing for the Convention in a 8"x 10"...It should attract a good bid! He also is framing the signature lynx photo in a nice custom built frame for auction, it will be the 11"x 18" and a real collector piece.

I hope along with the donation from Greg's kennels makes the willingness to attend more worth while for all!
