Happy 80th Birthday, Mr. Cameron. I thank you for all of your hard work and dedication over the years to improve the Bluetick breed. Your sacrifice and dedication to maintain the integrity of the breed has cultivated a bloodline that maintains the purity of what these hounds are supposed to be and do, as any true houndsman knows. Thank you, also, for your clear and honest writings over the years in Full Cry magazine and your wonderful book, Call of the Hounds, telling the tales of your adventures that most of us could only dream of experiencing. It is a privilege and honor to call you friend.

I don't know Del personally but i owe him a lot. Most of you probably know that Del is a gifted writer with the ability to draw his readers into his stories.I well remember when he stopped writing about his hunting adventures in"Full Cry" and started preaching the Gospel. I was a non-believer at that time and i was not happy.I swore i wouldn't read his stories again but for whatever reason i did.Del articulated the Truth so well that i came to be a believer in Jesus Christ.So THANK YOU,DEL and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
