What is your favorite gun to use to take a bobcat out of a tree?

well I still a rookie myself, but I have a 12 ga with 3" #4 and a ruger 22 pistol.. next year I will only carry the 22. I want my hounds to tree or catch it on the ground.. BTW cat hunting is the hardest hound sport out there..

Ruger single six pistol,9 and a quarter inch barrel with interchangeable cylinders for 22 magnum and .22 long rifle. I think i'm going to have to put a scope on it now because i can't shoot anymore or my eyes are going bad,maybe both.I learned a long time ago that i needed both hands free to climb these mountains.
