Boycott Facebook
A young lady has been getting a lot of grief for posting her safari pics on face book. From just negative comments to death threats and now Facebook has deleted some of her pics saying they promote poaching and cruelty to animals. I don't have a face book page but might create one just for this. Here is a chance to take a stand and boycott face book and let people know our opinion matters as well. No group every thinks we are strong enough or important enough to care if they offend us or not, wouldn't it be nice to prove them wrong. Mike Dotson

I have been watching that story and its true that many of the attacks are over the top and unwarranted. Its very common for the idiots among them to want to kill someone or threaten it. You have to ask why would someone stir up trouble they couldn't handle. But then you have to realize any response would be used against hunters and this is what they are looking for. I had hoped one of the many groups we donate our hard earned money to would stand up and support her. At the very least she is far more presentable to the silly ass public then many of us would be. But I feel safari club international with its more related position and many law professionals should be the ones to step up and make a example of all those who have attacked this young lady. They should start at the top and file suits to destroy these people that feel they have the right to pick a young person and put her in the sight of all the crazies and risk her safety and peace of mind. Then go after every individual who has defamed her or threatened her. If no one is willing to support our youngsters who participate in our chosen sports what chance do you think there is of these groups supporting us when we come under fire? Which is the primary reason the number of groups I support has dwindled over the last few years. Until we have a group that will stand up for us in actuality and not just provide over priced dinners to show what they're about or raise more money to support wildlife habitat we are loosing the ability to use we will continue to loose ground. There are hundreds of very real things these people could do to get sport hunters out of the more and back into our culture where it has its real meanings and importance

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

i despise facebook , all its good for is for someone that don't have a clue abt whats going on to bash someone and create drama ! have seen it a lot with people bashing others and putting there life in public so others can jump on the horse and ride him in the dirt when they have no clue !!!! imo some things need to stay out the publics eye cause of so many nuts in our world today that think everybody is wrong but them, GA DNR, told us a few years back about giving the antis ammo against us, they said don't show off your kill except to other hunters, and don't dump disregarded animal parts where non hunters can see them, despose of them where they cant be used as ammo, where some woman thought we killed bambi, for instance last hunting season, was riding down a dirt road not far from my house and came up on 3 does, one buck that had the back straps and hams cut off and was laying in the ditch, not 200 yards from a subdivision, wonder how many non hunters seen this, i know one woman did cause she stoped when i was moving them further in the woods ! and guess who got the blame all of us animal murders weather we were wrong or not !! common sense goes a long way , but a bunch don't think , OUT OF SIGHT MEANS OUT OF MIND,

Support for some of the Outdoor organizations has been dropping in recent years. Too much high dollars antics going on. I belong to them, and am having second thoughts. I wish they would step up to the plate and run interference for this gal. She sure gets my vote on backbone. Unlike some money centered folks.
Re: Boycott Facebook
Simple solution----QUIT posting on fakebook.
Can't believe this argument is still going on when the solution is so simple.
If you are proud of something GREAT show it to your real friends when they stop by..
Cracks me up when some suggest boycotting FB--Ya that will get their attention, FB could care less.
