School is Over?

Post by Varminator »

Is school over? I don't think so!!! You must always keep an open mind. You may think you know, but up jumps something you haven't seen or heard before.(Right Dewey!)
I'm with Al, don't trust your dog, especially if other or strange dogs are lose. I always think the worst thing that could happen!! That way your ready, and you have a chance to stop it before it starts. Me doings this in my mind, things can only get better.(Hopefully)

Buddy, Is there any way that you can set up a link that "NOVICE" cat hunters can read what all these Old Timers have written for them.

Reasons the "Kid won't make it", are many and "Few will make it on their own"!!
If your coming, come on!!! "A Thousand mile journey, Starts with a single step".

I never thought like that, I relaxed when my trusty old dogs was working tracks, especially after having long periods of trash free hunts. But always realized they were just dogs, so kept my eyes open just in case. Al

Al, I think we were still talking about the Kid and his young dog. Although, you had better not get to relaxed with any dog when strange dogs are thrown in the mix! I expect my old dogs to not pay any mind to a trash race, but like you said, I also "Keep my Eyes Open" just in case one weakens...

I believe that is why most cat hunters are basically loners, they do not want to mix packs for good reason. I always said my pack was straight in straight company. Lol

haha blue I think u hit it dead on, I hunt 99% by myself cause I don't trust another mans pack, everybody don't make hounds like u yourself wants them, I don't want theres screwing mine up and I surley don't want mine screwing theres up, but its good from time to time to hunt with someone else it will show you which dogs want it the most from the pressure the strangers inflict
