Steve would probably know if Bill doesn't remember. I'm going out on a limb here, and vote Dean Warren.

Benny,

I remember the photo and I recognized Big Bill but not the other guy. I have met Dean Warren several times once or twice at Camp Verde, and I knew he hunted the Mazatals and the Pine Mtn. Wilderness a good bit. Last time I saw Dean I wandered into his camp in Stray Horse and I recall he had a real nice black horse I really liked. Later after my old partner Pete Gill died on the Four Drags, Dean was there for a good long time, and thats the last I knew of him. Johny Klump use to come over to the Drags and hunt elk and bear. What a character!!

Cessna, the september thing is a small group of elite dry grounders that have more years behind them than they have ahead of them. You will have to learn a secret handshake and a little chant they have came up with. If you are ever fortunate enough to get invited dont go down there without your own prune juice cuz that stuff is more important to them than their dogs are. :D
Seriously though, i have heard a little about their get together and it sounds like a blast!

That's hilarious Mark!! If we're not careful, this will end up in the coffee shop!
Dean Warren makes circles with his fifth wheel these days. I think that he calls Oklahoma home now, he was making a pass every fall through Tonto Basin to fish Roosevelt, but I don't know if he's still stopping or not.
