Tree Fighting

Any tips on breaking a tree fighter?

Two. Cull it yesterday. And if you "can't " do that be honest and spare every other dog and hunter by only hunting it alone. Tree fighting is such a cancer it shouldn't be spread and I feel it has affected our hounds in various ways. And when you consider how few of them are allowed to continue its a dramatic impact. Just think about the investment each hound is then consider the many faults one can have and then remember few faults can actually rub off or ruin a entire finished pack of hounds faster then tree fighting. And don't be shy about letting the breeder know.

Good advice Pegleg. Tree fighting is almost if not impossible to break a dog from. If you you keep him cut him and don't hunt with anyone else. Dewey
