feeders for coon

whats the best type of food for a feeder other than dog food...may consider setting one up..

Soured corn works. just soak it in water for a while. I don't use it but I've seen other guys.

I use bucket feeders with dog food and have been using the Fusion also. Pics and directions for making a bucket or pipe feeder are on my web site.

I use pvc pipe with dog food works great around here. doesn't take 'em long to find if u put it where coons are and makes it easy for the young dogs to find a coon to trail and tree. Usally a short race but it gets the young dogs going on trailing and treeing.

the way the game department explained it to me you can bait any game animal u want as long as it is not a bear. I had found this out by coyote huntin and called the gamies to ask if it was legal to bait in yotes with live or dead animals and they said as long as it was not ediable part of game animals you could bait anything but bear.
