I hunted three counties that year, plus got in on a timber company that had locked gates. That does not ensure others are not entering illegal, but, can tell you those cat treed easier than the ones I hunted that had public access. Those cats were not all taken, sure some were treed more than once on different days. You are correct one needs access to a good cat population to put up big numbers, having a year to do nothing but cat hunt sure should help. According to what some others say they , those numbers are not that good, but the best I ever did. The dogs that i catch cats with are a walker plott cross out of Oregon that my family has bein breeding for a little over 30 years. the one that has bein producing bobcat dogs was line bred.she is the third generation of what i call all around bobcat dogs. the last two litters are a out cross to a idaho plott/walker. all turnd out great the one i kept treed her first at six months an has bein doing so ever since.i don't catch near the numbers as some u guys. But do goodfor the country i hunt.
