if you have been hunting the same area for three years,? you should have noticed that the cats you have started were started in certain spots?{cat crossing} remember the crossings in the winter and road them in the dry time. if you get a wiggle then shut the rig off and let the dog figure it out. if it cant start it then go back a half hour sooner the next day. you will get the timing sorted out and the dog will do the rest. hope this helps
no mater if you think you can or you think you cant,, you are probably rite.

I have marked places with a ribbon whenever I come across a cat track or scratch when I am deer hunting or whenever I am in the woods then all I have to remember is what road I seen it on and the marker shows me the crossing. its funny that you brought this up cause now that I think about it, seems like I am always looking for cat sign when I am out and about.lol maybe that know it all varminator will add something also. he has seemed to find cats where ever he goes and he is half coyote meaning he will have to piss on my post lmao

Ya the snow is just really crappy where I hunt now. So I think I will go road the dogs around where I was deer hunting this year. We got like 3 inches of fresh snow during deer season and I was to busy looking for new cat crossing and cat areas I didn't even shot a deer. Seemed like all I was doing was tracking cats around. But that was fine with me.
