ringer in trouble

Way to go, Old Dog. I agree. I hope this thing goes on for years to come and more volunteers come forward to lighten the load.

Way to go JC . you did an amazing thing putting this on! hope you do it again. Good for the sport and gives people a chance to hunt other terrains!! It make you wonder why the only disgruntled individual did not bother to enter! If it is the money, I will pay for your entry next year!!

Since everyone is bitching, here I go. Why is Jc the only one that can run a damn video camera??

Sorry had too, but on a serious note thank you JC for putting this on. It been interesting hearing about the different dogs and hunters around.

Again thanks Jc.

cobalt wrote:JC, I know I'm yanking your chain, but sincerely believe the situation with Robin was out of your control, yet responsibility falls on you. Lessons learned. I also will say you put on a great event. I was on the edge of my seat for much of it. Great job!!! There's always room for improvements in any competition. Look at the nfl's deflate-gate, for example. It's hard to have a level playing field with this hunt. Congrats on your probable win and dog sales :beer .
I can relate to you're passion for the line of dogs you worked hard to promote, I honestly do. you brought up the fact that its hard to have a level playing field with this hunt and that got me to thinking of away for you to get a honest chance to compare you're line with another line in the woods. how about you round up what ever dog you think best represents you're breeding efforts and make a hunt with what ever dog that is crowned the winner and put the garmins on them, record three races, and post them on here. I think that would be a pretty level playing field?? I may be speaking out of turn and it would depend on the padgetts to go along with it but it should put a end to all the bs. or like some say on here. separate the flyshit from the pepper :beer

I'm not that guy, sorry. Edited my posts. Sorry to hurt anyone's feelings or that bad, anyway. Thanks for the recap. Few people have dogs from my place. Don't have ownership of any blood. Jockey dogs or pups rarely.
Hunted bobcat twice this year, I have to check, but sure, I'd like to. Level playing field, not. Just like it would be level to bring el champion over here. But I got nothin to lose and I would prefer it over there. Nice baiting tactics, too. :beer .

Beginning to wonder why Robin hasn't stepped up and put a end to it ????

By the way, JC said if this contest is held again, someone else will have to do it cause he's done with the BS!!

I didn't really want to get into this because i like Brett and i like JC but it looks like i should .I thought about withdrawing from the hunt because it wasn't a head to head competition hunt and i didn't want to make the long drive over there.I'm 60 years old so i'm not a ball of fire anymore .I decided i would because i have Rogue at stud and wanted to show he could do what i said blue dogs can do .I could have gotten up earlier and hunted harder but i didn't want to .I start hunting about 7am and quit about 2.Let me say I throughly enjoyed the hunt and having Jc as my witness .After catching a cat Saturday i was back Sunday to catch another. My witness didn't show so i got a 2 hour late start. 2 hours is nothing to Ole Rogue so i wasn't worried but the cats just didn't move that day .Jc and Mark bent over backwards to make it more than right I didn't have any complaints and didn't want to mess things up for the next guys .What if i caught 1 or 2 on the extra day they offered me? It was a good ,fun hunt.I'm glad i entered it and hope it continues. No doubt Rogue could have done better with a better hunter behind him.A great job JC and keep it up !!!

well said Robin! as far as rouge doing what you said a blue dog can do,,he dang sure did that. I can say that ANY dog that can tree educated cats there is a CAT DOG and I don't care what color they are. if I had a blue bitch I would breed to rouge without hesitation that's for sure. thanks for putting a end to this thread. may it rest in peace

I thoroughly enjoyed following this contest. Gotta give Jc a lot of credit for taking the time to put this on and I hope a couple bad apples don't ruin it for the rest. I would step up to help in a heart beat if I lived out there but I would hope a few locals would help to keep this going.

You haters should be ashamed of yourself, jc took time away from his family, hunting, and work which he probably didnt mind lol. He did a great job at organizing the event and yea maybe it wasnt perfect, but it was dam close. Lets see you pot stirrers put your big boy pants on and try to do a better job instead of complaining, whining and crying. Nuff said

Jc as you probably already know, people who talk too much crap, and bitch at everything, are usually just jealous individuals with little self esteem. Ok nuff said
