bear question

Post by LJSHOUNDS »

I live in Utah and I am going to be going out this next week to try out two rig dogs. I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me any info on the San Juan area in utah. Has anyone been treeing any bear there the last few weeks? I was also thinking of trying the Bookcliffs. Just wondering what place would be best to try out the dogs. Any info would help thanks!

The Bookcliffs are great!! I would definitely recommend that you try there. The San Juan sucks. No bears, no lions, way too many hound doggers.

Moab might be ok. If you can't find a bear you'll be able find several locals that smell like bears. It would be good training either way.
